Sometimes there is a long delay between the time a piece is completed and when it is professionally photographed. So, I’m pleased to finally share this photo of the suspended art glass panels I created for the Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) back in 2017.

This colorful stairwell divider, which is permanently installed at LIT’s Petrochemical and Advanced Technology Center in Beaumount, Texas, consists of 59 tempered and laminated panels of glass suspended on tensioned stainless steel cables. Similar to the stairwell installation that I created for Michigan State University, the art glass panels bring vibrancy to a tight space.
