International Airport Proposal

Shown is a full-size mock-up for two glass art installations at an international airport. The work consists of acid-etched and painted mouth-blown glass. Over 3,400 unique tiles were proposed to create two walls for the departure and arrival concourses. The tiles are supported on tensioned cables with custom-designed spider fittings that create an undulating surface.
