121 First Street

This fused glass art installation adorns the lobbies of the first through fourth floors of a newly constructed mixed-use building in Cambridge, MA. The client sought an art glass feature that was bright and bold which would help the building stand out in a neighborhood that is fast emerging as a pedestrian-friendly focal point of Cambridge’s technology and life sciences hub. The walls are visible from the street and reflect both daylight and artificial lighting.
